Surprise Proposal in Red Lodge, Montana

This spring proposal in Red Lodge was one of those days that just came together exactly how you hope it will. Austin reached out to me months in advance, and we spent that time going back and forth, planning every detail so it would feel natural and meaningful. By the time the day arrived, everything was set up perfectly, and all he had to do was be present with her in the moment.

With the mountains surrounding them and that fresh spring air, he got down on one knee and she said yes. It was such an emotional and exciting moment, made even more special by the fact that her friends and family were there too. They had all been in town together, which made the whole experience feel even more intentional and full of love.

After the proposal, we headed to a serene lake nearby for engagement photos, which gave them time to soak it all in and just be together. The light, the setting, and the energy of the day felt effortless. It truly was one of those perfect Red Lodge days, and I’m so grateful I got to capture it all.
